Meanwhile, the Southwest region witnessed a surprise when two strong teams, Can Tho University and Dong Thap University, said goodbye after holding each other to a 0-0 draw. Group 1 also determined the two teams to enter the semi-finals, namely Nam Can Tho University and Cuu Long University, as they had the same 4 points as Can Tho University but ranked higher thanks to the extra index.

Today, January 13, the final round of group 2 of the Southwest region qualifying round took place with two matches between Tra Vinh University and Tay Do University, Vinh Long University of Technical Education and FPT University Can Tho to determine the two places in the semi-finals.
