On July 27, the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang City said it had requested the PV Oil Central Petroleum Joint Stock Company Branch in Da Nang to report the incident in which an employee at the Hoang Van Thai gas station (Hoa Khanh ward) refused to pay a customer's bank transfer.

Previously, a resident reported through the city's feedback system that the PV Oil gas station at 271-273 Hoang Van Thai had not accepted money transfers for about a month, forcing customers to withdraw cash to pay.

Most recently, on the morning of July 13, the gas station still refused to accept cashless payments. People said this was an unusual sign and asked the authorities to investigate.

PV Oil Central Petroleum Joint Stock Company's branch in Da Nang commits to handle and rectify the situation of employees refusing to receive money transfers.

PV Oil Central Petroleum Joint Stock Company confirmed that the reflection was correct. Salesperson N.D.T admitted that he refused to make the transfer payment due to his old age, slow operation and fear of losing money.

However, this behavior violates the company's sales policy. PV Oil said that the company's policy is to encourage cashless payments via bank transfers or e-wallets. The store system has been fully equipped with electronic payment devices for many years.

PV Oil Central Petroleum Joint Stock Company in Da Nang pledged to rectify sales activities and will discipline violating employees.
