Da Nang approves investor for inland waterway project worth over 9,881 billion VND

The project to invest in construction and business of inland waterway tourism in Da Nang has a total estimated investment capital of more than 9,881 billion VND, divided into 2 investment phases and 3 component projects.

The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued Decision No. 1969/QD-UBND approving Ha Long Sun Co., Ltd. as the investor for the Inland Waterway Tourism Construction and Business Project with a total estimated investment of over 9,881 billion VND.

The project is divided into two investment phases and three sub-projects. Accordingly, phase 1, from 2025 to 2030, is divided into one sub-project, including the following items: 8 inland waterway terminals, auxiliary facilities serving the terminals such as access roads, parking lots, waiting areas, ticket booths, etc., within the area from Thuan Phuoc Bridge to Tien Son Bridge; landscaped parks and structures on the land behind the corresponding terminals; procurement of boats and ships to serve waterway tourism activities; lighting effects displays, and art shows.

Phase 2, from 2028 to 2031, is divided into two component projects. Component project 2 includes the following items: 8 inland waterway terminals along the Vinh Dien and Co Co rivers, along with supporting facilities such as access roads, parking lots, waiting areas, and ticket booths; landscaped parks and structures on the land behind the respective terminals; and the purchase of boats and vessels to serve waterway tourism activities.

Component Project 3 includes the following items: 4 inland waterway terminals along the Cam Le River along with supporting facilities for terminal operations such as access roads, parking lots, waiting areas, ticket booths; parks around waiting areas and ticket booths; landscaped parks and structures on the land behind the respective terminals; and the purchase of boats and vessels to serve waterway tourism activities.

The project's operating period is 50 years, starting from the date the investor is granted land allocation or land lease for the implementation of phase 1.
