The Provincial People's Committee Party Congress will take place on August 22.

On the evening of August 15, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) held a meeting to give opinions on documents and preparations for the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030. Comrade Tran Huy Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting.

Attending the meeting were the Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of the agencies advising and assisting the Party Committee.

The first Congress of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, for the term 2025-2030, will be held on August 22nd at the Provincial Military Command Headquarters.

According to the draft document for the Congress, for the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee has set forth 18 main targets, 3 breakthrough areas, 6 groups of tasks, and key solutions.

At the meeting, delegates studied and commented on the Draft Political Report of the Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term to be presented at the First Congress of the Party Committee of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province, term 2025-2030; the Draft Report on the review of leadership and direction work of the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province; the Draft Resolution of the Congress and the Draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the First Congress of the Party Committee of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province, term 2025-2030…

After reviewing the documents, with a focus on the draft Political Report, the delegates attending the meeting shared the common assessment that the content and structure of the draft reports basically met the requirements, reflecting quite comprehensively the achievements in various fields, and outlining directions and tasks appropriate to the conditions and development trends in the new period. The delegates also requested the subcommittee on congress documents to revise the political report to be more concise and to the point, and offered further suggestions on the content, principles, themes of the congress, and the targets and solutions outlined in the draft…

Following that, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee held the second expanded online meeting of the Party Committee's Executive Board.

At the conference, delegates discussed and contributed many insightful, heartfelt, and high-quality opinions to the draft congress documents, the draft program, and related documents expected to be presented at the First Congress of the Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, term 2025-2030. These opinions closely reflected reality, clearly demonstrating a spirit of innovation and creativity, making a significant contribution to enabling the document subcommittee and supporting departments to incorporate and refine the draft congress documents and program to the highest quality for presentation at the congress.
