The 3rd Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Lam Binh district, term 2024

The Vietnam Youth Union of Lam Binh district currently has 3,825 members, operating in 13 branches. The rate of attracting and gathering young people is over 75%. During the past term, the work of the Union and the youth movement of Lam Binh district achieved many important results, completing and exceeding 7/7 of the expenditures set forth in the Resolution of the 2nd Congress, term 2019 - 2024.

The implementation of the movements "I love my Fatherland" and the program "Accompanying young people to establish a career" has been effective. The Vietnam Youth Union of the district organized over 750 conferences to study and disseminate directives and resolutions, with over 12,000 officials, members and young people participating; coordinated with departments, organizations and businesses to organize communications on entrepreneurship, career counseling and orientation, and job introduction for over 12,800 members and young people; coordinated to open 22 vocational training classes for 946 members and young people.

At the same time, create conditions for members and young people to access loan sources. Up to now, the association has 58 youth economic development models and 6 youth cooperatives. 1,800 new members have been admitted.

With the slogan "Lam Binh Youth innovate, create, pioneer in digital transformation", for the 2024 - 2029 term, the Vietnam Youth Union of Lam Binh district has set the goal: Building a generation of Lam Binh youth to develop comprehensively, have revolutionary ideals, strong political will, patriotism, a healthy lifestyle, and a desire to start a business; promote the role and responsibility of youth, proactively and actively integrate into the international community.

At the same time, strengthen solidarity, gather young people; build a strong Association organization, take care to meet the legitimate requirements and aspirations of young people; promote the spirit of creativity, pioneer digital transformation to contribute to building Lam Binh homeland to be increasingly developed, rich and civilized.

The Chairman of the District People's Committee commended collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the Association's work and youth movements in the period 2019 - 2024.

Along with that, focus on implementing 11 main targets: 100% of Association officials and 90% of members and youths study, understand and propagate documents of the Party, the Youth Union and the Association; strive by 2029, over 80% of branches apply information technology and social networks in activities and organization of association work.

The congress consulted and elected 15 members to join the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Lam Binh district, term III. The congress elected a delegation of 15 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to attend the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Tuyen Quang province, term 2024-2029.

At the Congress, the Vietnam Youth Union of Tuyen Quang province awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 collectives and 2 individuals; the Chairman of the District People's Committee commended 10 collectives and 15 individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of the Union and youth movements in the period 2019 - 2024.
