On December 5, in Hanoi , Mr. Kohdayar Marri, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan visited and worked with the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations.
Representing the Vietnam Union of Literary and Artistic Associations in welcoming Ambassador Kohdayar Marri were Associate Professor, Doctor, and Musician Do Hong Quan, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Vietnam Union of Literary and Artistic Associations; Major General and Musician Nguyen Duc Trinh, President of the Vietnam Musicians Association; Journalist and Photographer Ho Sy Minh, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and Editor-in-Chief of Photography and Life Magazine; and Ms. Nguyen Hoai Thuong, Head of the Emulation and Commendation Board and Deputy Head of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Vietnam Union of Literary and Artistic Associations.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, Do Hong Quan, introduced the history, tasks, and mission of the Union of Associations towards the literature and arts, as well as the outstanding creative and performance activities of Vietnamese artists today. This helped Ambassador Kohdayar Marri gain a better understanding of the historical flow of Vietnamese literature and arts, and of Vietnam's land, people, and culture.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Vietnam highly appreciated the friendly relations and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Pakistan, which have been maintained and continuously strengthened over the past 50 years. He also expressed his desire to further develop the relationship between the two countries, building on the achievements already made.
Ambassador Kohdayar Marri shared about the unique and rich culture of Pakistan, according to him, Pakistani culture is not only a delicate blend of historical, religious and ethnic elements, but also a rich source of inspiration for artists and art enthusiasts around the world .
Ambassador Kohdayar Marri also said he was very impressed with the Vietnamese art performances that he had the opportunity to enjoy at some recent events and expressed special interest in the Vietnamese art and culture sector.
Through this visit, Ambassador Kohdayar Marri hopes to connect and promote cultural, literary, and artistic exchanges between the two countries.
During the meeting, both sides discussed and deliberated on future exchanges and cooperation in various fields of literature and art, primarily in music, photography, literature, and architecture. They also expressed hope that cultural cooperation programs between the two countries would yield many positive results in the future.
