During the audience at the presentation of credentials, the President of Albania highly appreciated the traditionally good relations between Vietnam and Albania over the past 75 years, emphasizing the need to revitalize the relationship between the two countries by promoting exchanges of delegations at all levels, strengthening political , economic and cultural cooperation, and prioritizing the development of legal cooperation frameworks in each field, including the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement...

President Bajram Begaj congratulated Ambassador Pham Thi Thu Huong on assuming her duties, expressing confidence that with her experience, during her term as a bridge, the Ambassador will promote cooperation between the two countries to a new level.

For her part, Ambassador Pham Thi Thu Huong conveyed the warm greetings of the President and leaders of Vietnam to the President, Government, and people of Albania; affirmed that Vietnam always cherishes the assistance and support that the Government and people of Albania previously provided to Vietnam during the national independence struggle; and expressed the hope that the good relations between Vietnam and Albania will continue to be consolidated and strengthened in many fields, meeting the aspirations of the people of both countries, especially in the context of the two countries celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

On the occasion of presenting her credentials in Albania, from October 21-23, Ambassador Pham Thi Thu Huong paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of the Albanian Parliament, Niko Peleshi, and held meetings with the Deputy Minister of Economy and Innovation of Albania; the Director of the Protocol Department, the Director of the Department of Economy, Diplomacy, Culture and Albanians Abroad of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania; the Director General of the Albanian Development and Investment Agency; the CEO of the Albanian Investment Group; and the President of the Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Albania.

The Vietnamese Embassy held a reception in Tirana to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Albania. The event was attended by representatives from Albanian agencies and ministries, ambassadors, representatives from other countries and international organizations within the diplomatic corps, as well as Albanian businesses and friends.
