The Party Committee of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council held a trade union activity "on implementing revolutionary ethical standards of civil servants and party members associated with office culture in the new situation"

On the morning of September 24th, the Party Committee of the Office of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and People's Council organized a thematic discussion on "the implementation of revolutionary ethical standards for cadres and Party members in conjunction with workplace culture in the new situation" for all cadres and Party members, aiming to contribute to raising awareness of revolutionary ethics, workplace culture, and the sense of responsibility of each cadre and Party member in performing their duties.

At the Party Committee's thematic meeting, Comrade Vu Ngoc Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc and speaker of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc, conveyed and introduced the following contents: Regulation No. 144-QĐ/TW dated May 9, 2024, of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam on the revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and Party members in the new period; and Regulation No. 1612-QĐ/TU dated September 12, 2024, of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee "on the implementation of workplace culture for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of agencies and units of the Party, Fatherland Front, and political -social organizations in the province."

The delegates attending the thematic discussion grasped the basic contents of the regulations on revolutionary ethics standards for cadres and party members in the new period; the core contents, new points, and significance of Regulation 144 for improving the revolutionary ethics of cadres and party members in the coming time, including 5 ethical standards for cadres and party members in the new period, namely: (1) Patriotism, respect for the people, absolute loyalty to the Party and the Fatherland; (2) Courage, innovation, creativity, integration; (3) Diligence, thrift, integrity, impartiality; (4) Unity, discipline, compassion, responsibility; (5) Exemplary, humility, self-cultivation, training, lifelong learning. At the same time, the speaker analyzed the application of Ho Chi Minh's thought in implementing revolutionary ethics standards for cadres and party members in conjunction with workplace culture in the new situation; The content of Regulation No. 1612-QD/TU dated September 12, 2024, of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, "on the implementation of workplace culture for officials, civil servants, employees, and workers of agencies and units under the Party, the Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations in the province," outlines several key solutions for building workplace culture. Regulation No. 1612-QD/TU is one of the solutions aimed at concretizing Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU, dated October 30, 2023, of the Provincial Party Committee on building and promoting the cultural values and human strength of Quang Ninh to become an endogenous resource and driving force for rapid and sustainable development.

Comrade Le Van Anh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Secretary of the Party Committee, delivered a speech at the thematic discussion session.

Directing the meeting, Comrade Le Van Anh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Secretary of the Party Committee, emphasized the purpose and requirements of studying and understanding the criteria and standards of revolutionary ethics for each cadre and Party member in implementing Regulation 144-QĐ/TW of the Central Committee and Regulation 1612-QĐ/TU of the Provincial Party Standing Committee. Through this political meeting, he urged each cadre and Party member to enhance their sense of responsibility, especially those in leadership positions; to resolutely maintain strict discipline and order; and to build a truly clean and strong Party Committee of the Office in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization, and cadre.

Reportedly, the Party Committee of the Office of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and People's Council is the first unit in the provincial Party Committee to organize a thematic discussion on this topic.
