Offering incense to commemorate the 27th anniversary of the death of Professor - Academician Tran Dai Nghia

(VLO) On the morning of August 9, at the Memorial Site of Professor - Academician Tran Dai Nghia, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the 27th anniversary of the death of Professor Tran Dai Nghia (July 7, 1997 - July 7, 2024 lunar calendar).

Provincial Party Secretary - Bui Van Nghiem and Provincial People's Committee Chairman - Lu Quang Ngoi offered incense at the Memorial Site of Professor and Academic Tran Dai Nghia.

At the memorial house, Mr. Bui Van Nghiem - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Long province; Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee and leaders, former leaders of the province, representatives of departments, branches and local authorities respectfully offered flowers, incense and observed a moment of silence to commemorate the late Professor Tran Dai Nghia - a great scientist of the Vietnamese revolution, an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, an excellent son of Vinh Long and the one who laid a solid foundation for the formation and development of Vietnamese science.

The delegation observed a moment of silence in memory of the late Professor Tran Dai Nghia.

Delegates respectfully offered incense in memory of the late Professor and Academician Tran Dai Nghia.

To commemorate and pay tribute to his great contributions to the cause of national liberation, in 2015 Vinh Long province inaugurated and put into operation the Memorial Site of Professor Tran Dai Nghia. Over the years, this place has become a "red address" to educate revolutionary traditions for many young generations about the spirit of overcoming difficulties, eagerness to learn, creativity in work and devotion to the country and the people.
