Offering incense to commemorate the 117th birthday of comrade Ngo Gia Tu

On the occasion of the 117th anniversary of Comrade Ngo Gia Tu's birthday (December 3, 1908 - December 3, 2025), on December 3, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province came to offer incense and flowers in memory of Comrade Ngo Gia Tu's monument, located in Tam Son ward, Bac Ninh province.

At comrade Ngo Gia Tu's hometown (Tam Son ward), the delegation of Bac Ninh province led by comrade Nguyen Hong Thai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, respectfully offered flowers and incense in memory of comrade Ngo Gia Tu at the statue.

As an outstanding son of his hometown Bac Ninh, comrade Ngo Gia Tu was an outstanding communist soldier, a senior leader of the Party, and an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh. He was one of the founders of the Indochina Communist Party, the predecessor of the Communist Party of Vietnam .

Born and raised in the homeland of Tam Son, rich in cultural and revolutionary traditions, comrade Ngo Gia Tu was enlightened about the revolution early. In 1926, comrade Ngo Gia Tu was admitted to the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association. In 1928, he was elected Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association of Bac Ninh and member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association of Bac Ky. In June 1929, he was elected to the Provisional Central Committee of the Indochinese Communist Party.

After the founding conference of the Communist Party of Vietnam in February 1930, he was elected as Secretary of the Southern Executive Committee. He was a person with great merit in propagating, building the first revolutionary bases and directing the establishment of the Indochinese Communist Party in Bac Ninh - Bac Giang .

The 117th anniversary of comrade Ngo Gia Tu's birth is an opportunity for the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Bac Ninh province to remember and express gratitude for his great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and nation.

Learning from and following the example of comrade Ngo Gia Tu, the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Bac Ninh province vow to promote the revolutionary tradition, solidarity, unity, overcome difficulties, promote patriotic emulation movements, successfully implement the set goals and tasks, and soon turn Bac Ninh into a centrally-run city before 2030.

On the same day, the delegation of Bac Ninh province led by comrades Nguyen Thi Huong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Nguyen Viet Oanh, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, offered incense at the monument of comrade Ngo Gia Tu, located in Bac Giang ward.
