In 2025, the Department of Motorcycles and Transport successfully completed regular and ad hoc tasks. Advised and directed units to perform well the technical tasks of vehicles, machines, armored vehicles, transportation, and ensuring traffic safety in serving important political events; participated in overcoming the consequences of storms and floods; participated in ensuring equipment, ensuring technical safety of motorcycles, and transportation to help the Lao Ministry of National Defense under the direction of the Ministry of National Defense.

In the work of building units, Party committees and commanders at all levels strictly implement the decisions of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Logistics and Technology on merging, transferring, and reorganizing agencies and units closely and in accordance with regulations; internal solidarity and unity; officers and soldiers strictly comply with State laws and military discipline, ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Phung Ngoc Son, Deputy Chief of Staff, General Department of Logistics and Engineering acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Department of Motorcycles and Transport in 2025; at the same time, noted a number of key tasks in the coming time: Continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement resolutions and directives of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Logistics and Engineering on military and defense tasks; improve staff work and proposals in directing the assurance of technical work on motorcycles and armored vehicles; well perform the State management function of the industry on ensuring traffic safety in the army; continue to thoroughly grasp the work of ideological management and discipline compliance of officers and soldiers, striving to have no serious violations that need to be handled.

Concluding the conference, Major General Nguyen Que Lam, Director of the Department of Motorcycles and Transport, requested to strictly maintain the order of motorcycle and transport work regime to ensure adequate, timely and synchronous equipment of vehicles, machines, armored vehicles, engineers, and military transport vehicles for military and defense missions; natural disaster prevention and control, search and rescue, as well as important political events...; promote scientific research, promote initiatives and technical improvements; strengthen the application of information technology, continue to implement the Digital Transformation Plan for the period 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030.
