Ninh Hai District Military Party Committee: Summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution 689-NQ/QUTW

On May 20, the Ninh Hai District Military Party Committee held a conference to review 10 years of implementing Resolution 689-NQ/QUTW dated October 10, 2014 of the Central Military Commission; Resolution No. 38-NQ/DU dated March 6, 2015 of the Military Region Command Party Committee; Resolution No. 41-NQ/DU dated May 18, 2015 of the Provincial Military Party Committee on preventing, overcoming consequences of natural disasters, catastrophes, rescue and relief until 2020 and the following years. Comrade Phan Tan Canh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee chaired the conference.

Over the past 10 years, the Ninh Hai District Military Party Committee has advised the District Party Committee and the District People's Committee to effectively lead and direct the implementation of natural disaster prevention and control, search and rescue tasks in the area. Notably, it regularly develops plans for natural disaster prevention and control, search and rescue; regularly inspects, reviews, adjusts, and supplements forces and facilities for PCTT-TKCN tasks, strictly maintains combat readiness and disaster developments, and effectively implements the motto of 4 on-site, 3 ready. The District Military Party Committee has directed 100% of its subordinate units to organize training and professional training in search and rescue in accordance with regulations.

Comrade Phan Tan Canh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Ninh Hai District Party Committee, awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with good achievements in 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 689-NQ-QUTW.

In the coming time, the District Military Party Committee will continue to strengthen the ideological education for officers and soldiers of the district's armed forces to raise awareness and responsibility for the task of preventing, fighting and responding to natural disasters, fires and explosions, forest fires, building a sense of initiative and readiness to mobilize when situations arise; continue to direct the district's armed forces to adjust plans and options for using forces and means to suit the actual conditions of each locality; send officers to participate in training organized by superiors; closely coordinate with local agencies and units to regularly practice plans to ensure they are close to reality, practical and effective. Implement the 4-on-the-spot motto, the guiding ideology is prevention first, actively and proactively respond quickly and effectively in preventing, fighting and overcoming natural disasters, disasters, and rescue. Well implement the regimes and policies for the subjects in the process of performing the task of preventing, fighting and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, disasters, rescue and rescue.

On this occasion, the District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 689-NQ/QUTW.
