Ninh Hai District Military Party Committee: Summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution 689-NQ/QUTW

On May 20th, the Ninh Hai District Military Party Committee held a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution 689-NQ/QUTW dated October 10, 2014, of the Central Military Commission; Resolution 38-NQ/DU dated March 6, 2015, of the Party Committee of the Military Region Command; and Resolution 41-NQ/DU dated May 18, 2015, of the Provincial Military Party Committee on disaster prevention, mitigation, and relief efforts up to 2020 and beyond. Comrade Phan Tan Canh, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the District Party Committee, chaired the conference.

Over the past 10 years, the Ninh Hai District Military Party Committee has advised the District Party Committee and the District People's Committee on leading and directing the effective implementation of disaster prevention, response, and rescue tasks in the district. Notably, they have regularly developed plans for disaster prevention and search and rescue; regularly inspected, reviewed, adjusted, and supplemented forces and facilities for disaster prevention and search and rescue tasks; strictly maintained combat readiness and preparedness for natural disasters; and effectively implemented the "four on-the-spot, three ready" principle. The District Military Party Committee has directed 100% of its subordinate units to organize training and professional rescue operations in accordance with regulations.

Comrade Phan Tan Canh, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Ninh Hai District Party Committee, presented certificates of commendation to collectives and individuals who achieved good results in the 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 689-NQ-QUTW.

In the coming period, the District Military Party Committee will continue to strengthen ideological education for officers and soldiers of the district's armed forces to raise awareness and responsibility regarding the tasks of preventing, responding to, and mitigating natural disasters, fires, and forest fires; build a proactive mindset and readiness to mobilize when situations arise; continue to direct the district's armed forces to adjust plans and methods for using forces and equipment to suit the actual conditions of each locality; send officers to participate in training courses organized by higher levels; closely coordinate with local agencies and units to regularly practice plans to ensure they are realistic, practical, and effective. Implement the "four on-the-spot" principle, with the guiding principle of prevention being the main focus, actively and proactively responding quickly and effectively in preventing, mitigating, and overcoming natural disasters and calamities, and in rescue and relief operations. Ensure the proper implementation of policies and regulations for those involved in the process of preventing, mitigating, and mitigating the consequences of natural disasters and calamities, and in rescue and relief operations.

On this occasion, the District People's Committee awarded certificates of commendation to 5 collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements in the 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 689-NQ/QUTW.
