List of state secrets in the medical field

Accordingly, Top Secret State Secrets include:

Medical records, information, medical examination and treatment results, health check-ups of Politburo members and Central Party Secretariat members.

State secrets of the level of Confidentiality include:

1- The number of people infected and killed by newly emerging dangerous infectious diseases of unknown cause has not been made public by the Ministry of Health .

2- The names, origins, virulence, ability to spread, and transmission routes of newly discovered and unidentified infectious disease agents related to human health and life and affecting socio -economic development have not been made public.

This Decision takes effect from May 22, 2024 and replaces Decision No. 1295/QD-TTg dated August 24, 2020 of the Prime Minister promulgating the List of State secrets in the health sector.
