The 2025 High School Graduation Exam took place on June 26-27 with more than 1.16 million candidates taking the exam. This year's exam was held in parallel with the 2018 General Education Program and the 2006 General Education Program.
Students taking the 2018 General Education Program will take two compulsory subjects: math and literature, and two elective subjects from the remaining subjects studied in grade 12, including foreign languages, history, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, economic and legal education, information technology, and technology.

Russian is the subject with the fewest candidates in the 2025 graduation exam with 103 candidates in both the 2018 and 2006 General Education programs.
