Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province Nguyen Van Khoi attended the signing ceremony.

The capital support program helps farmers promptly access financial resources and agricultural materials at reasonable prices, avoid black credit, contribute to stabilizing life and developing production. If previously mainly focused on lending for rice cultivation, now it has expanded to crops and aquaculture, at the same time connecting with businesses to supply seeds, materials and output consumption, forming a closed production - consumption chain, suitable for each region.

Chairman of Ca Mau Farmers' Association Nguyen Hoang Thoai spoke at the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Ca Mau Province Nguyen Hoang Thoai thanked KienlongBank for accompanying farmers in the past time; at the same time, he requested the bank to continue to adjust flexible lending methods and supplement appropriate credit products. The Chairman of the Farmers' Association of the province emphasized that the Loan Groups need to develop timely disbursement plans, strictly manage and effectively monitor the use of capital.

Representatives of the Provincial Farmers' Association and KienlongBank Ca Mau answered questions from members at the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement.

According to the agreement, the borrower must be a member of the Farmers' Association for at least 6 months; the loan group has from 3 to 30 members. Each member can borrow up to 100 million VND, no collateral required, 6-month term, flexible periodic repayment, interest rate from only 0.708%/month. In particular, KienlongBank reduces an additional 2%/year for customers who do not have outstanding debt at the finance company, and reduces 1%/year for the remaining customers.

Representatives of Farmers' Associations of communes and wards signed a cooperation agreement with KienlongBank Ca Mau.

At the signing ceremony, the Provincial Farmers’ Association and the Director of KienlongBank Ca Mau signed a cooperation document; at the same time, the Farmers’ Associations of communes and wards also signed with the bank. This close coordination is expected to spread and contribute to building a sustainable agricultural production and consumption ecosystem in Ca Mau and the Mekong Delta region.
