Vice Chairman of the Committee for Science , Technology and Environment Nguyen Phuong Tuan was pleased to see that cooperation in science, technology and environment between Vietnam and Germany has been continuously promoted, especially in the fields of renewable energy, digital transformation, green technology and innovation. In recent times, the two countries have developed joint projects, shared experiences and promoted the transfer of advanced technology, thereby contributing to enhancing Vietnam's competitiveness and sustainable development.
The Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment also said that at the ongoing Tenth Session, the National Assembly considered and decided on 66 contents, including 7 draft laws managed by the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment, to continue perfecting the legal framework for breakthrough development in the fields of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
Minister Timon Gremmels emphasized that Vietnam is one of the most important trade partners of Hessen State in the ASEAN region. Besides the trade sector, cooperation between Vietnam and Hessen State is constantly expanding and deepening in the fields of science, education - training and economic development.
According to the Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Science, Technology and Environment, cooperation between Vietnam and Hessen State is a model of cooperation between Vietnam and German localities, contributing to deepening the Vietnam - Germany strategic partnership.
The two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation and exchange of experiences in the fields of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation, especially in the development and promulgation of policies and laws to create development space for this field. Strengthen parliamentary cooperation; promote the exchange and sharing of professional experiences at the level of advisory and support agencies of the National Assembly and the Hessen State Parliament, contributing to improving the qualifications and capacity of advisory and support specialists of the legislative body.
