In order to promptly grasp the operational situation of agencies and units under the Department of Health after organizing and operating the 2-level local government, on the morning of August 8, the delegation to supervise and support the overall health sector of Vinh Long, led by Dr. Ho Thi Thu Hang - Director of the Department of Health, came to work with the Cang Long Regional Medical Center.

Cang Long Regional Medical Center has a scale of 100 beds, 5 medical stations and 9 stations with a total staff of 252 people by the end of July. After organizing and operating a 2-level local government, the activities of the center and medical stations are operated smoothly to ensure the protection and care of people's health.
To ensure the good performance of assigned tasks, Cang Long Regional Medical Center recommends that the Department of Health supplement the missing human resources at the center and medical stations; support biochemical testing machines to better serve patients; open training courses for medical and population collaborators. At the same time, soon issue a document guiding the settlement of operating expenses according to the new mechanism.
The delegation acknowledged the recommendations and highly appreciated the efforts of the center, and at the same time provided guidance and proposed solutions to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, digital transformation, especially the implementation of electronic medical records to achieve progress according to regulations.
