Samsung's "Solve for Tomorrow" program has created a creative thinking playground for students, encouraging them to apply STEM education knowledge related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to address social issues such as the environment, safety, and sustainable development.
First launched in the US in 2010, the program has since expanded to 55 countries worldwide, attracting approximately 2.4 million students and teachers.
The competition was launched in Vietnam in 2019, and in 2022 alone, it attracted the participation of over 70,000 middle and high school students nationwide.
Aiming to reach and attract even more students, this year, for the first time, Samsung is undertaking a roadshow to directly launch the "Solve for Tomorrow" program in the North, Central, and South regions of Vietnam. The number of participating students and entries is expected to double compared to last year.

In addition, Samsung creates numerous opportunities to enhance students' research and application capabilities in STEM education, as well as their problem-solving skills.
Notable activities include providing high-quality online STEM courses that ensure direct interaction between teachers and students; operating a team of senior professional advisors consisting of Samsung experts and staff; and sponsoring a STEM Lab for the school whose team won first prize…
At the event, South Korean First Lady Kim Keon Hee toured the exhibition area showcasing models from the winning teams of the competition over the past two years and spent time chatting with students participating in the "Solve for Tomorrow" program.
The First Lady affirmed: "Korea has always stood by and supported students who harbor many dreams like you. We hope that through the 'Solve for Tomorrow' program, you will become more mature and contribute even more to Vietnam and the international community."
Mr. Jo Sang Ho, General Director of Samsung Electronics Southeast Asia, stated that since officially investing in Vietnam, Samsung has made a positive contribution to Vietnam's economic development, with its exports accounting for approximately 20% of Vietnam's total export turnover.
Beyond its economic contributions, Samsung consistently strives to nurture technological talent, thereby enhancing Vietnam's fundamental competitiveness.
