Music night "Southern affection" to support northern compatriots

On the evening of September 22, Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with Khong Ten tea room and Nova Service to organize a music night with the theme "Southern affection" to connect and spread people's love for their compatriots, and to raise donations to support the work of overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3 (Yagi) and its circulation. Attending the program was comrade Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

At the Southern Love program, in addition to enjoying music , the audience also comes to share and call for kind hearts to turn to the beloved North. Each melody that resonates is not only a musical note but also a connection of hearts, and each heart will be a brick to rebuild the lives of our fellow countrymen.

According to the program's Organizing Committee, the Prime Minister has assigned Vietnam Television to coordinate with the People's Committee of Lao Cai province to carry out the mission of building 37 houses for 37 households. Nu village, who suffered many losses due to storms and floods. Currently, the location of the new village has been determined, located 2km from the old village.

All donations from this meaningful music night will be transferred to the “Vietnamese Heart” Fund of Vietnam Television, contributing to building new homes, bringing hope and a better future to the beloved people of Nu village.

Hearing that the program "Southern Love" was being held, many artists did not hesitate to postpone their previous plans to participate in the program, together lighting up hope, with open hearts, with loving songs.

Each melody that resounded in the night of “Southern Love” was a prayer for peace, the heartbeat of millions of people who wanted to contribute to help their compatriots overcome difficulties, join hands to support and share with people who are in dire need of help. The music night was not just an event, but a symbol of solidarity, of the bond and sharing between the South and the North.
