Music night "Southern affection" to support northern compatriots

On the evening of September 22nd, the Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City, in collaboration with the "Khong Ten" tea room and Nova Service, organized a music night themed "Southern Compassion" to connect and spread love for fellow citizens, and to raise funds to support relief efforts following Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi) and its aftermath. Attending the program was Comrade Nguyen Van Nen, Member of the Politburo and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

At the "Southern Compassion" program, in addition to enjoying the music , the audience also came to share and call for charitable hearts to reach out to the beloved North. Each melody that resonated was not just a musical note, but also a connection of hearts, and each heart will be a brick in rebuilding the lives of our fellow countrymen.

According to the program organizers, the Prime Minister has assigned Vietnam Television, in coordination with the People's Committee of Lao Cai province, the mission of building 37 houses for 37 households. The people of Nu village suffered great losses due to storms and floods. Currently, the location of the new village has been determined, situated 2km from the old village.

All proceeds from this meaningful charity concert will be donated to the "Vietnamese Heart" Fund of Vietnam Television, contributing to the construction of new homes and bringing hope and a better future to the beloved people of Nu village.

Upon hearing that the "Southern Compassion" program was being organized, many artists did not hesitate to postpone their previous plans to participate, together lighting up hope with open hearts and loving songs.

Each melody that resonated during the "Southern Solidarity" concert was a prayer for peace, the heartbeat of millions wishing to contribute to helping their compatriots overcome difficulties, joining hands to support and share with those in desperate need. The concert was not just an event, but a symbol of solidarity, of the bond and sharing between the South and the North.
