The highest benchmark score of National Economics University is 27.92 points.

The National Economics University has announced the admission scores based on a combination of international English certificates, 2023 high school graduation exam scores, and admission for students from specialized schools.

Accordingly, the admission method combining international English certificates with the 2023 high school graduation exam scores (abbreviated as DT4) has the following calculation formula: Admission score = (Certificate conversion score + exam score of 2 subjects) x 30/35 + bonus points (if any).

For admission to specialized schools and programs, the scoring formula is as follows: Admission score = Academic transcript score for 6 semesters + score of 2 exam subjects + priority points (if any).

The National Economics University notes that candidates who meet the admission requirements still need to register and adjust their preferences accordingly to be admitted through the Ministry of Education and Training 's common system from July 10th to July 30th.

This year, the National Economics University will enroll 6,200 students. Of which, graduation exam scores account for only 25% of the target, 73% are for combined admission methods according to the school's own project, and 2% are for direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the school.

The school has announced early admission scores with three methods: admission by SAT or ACT international certificate (DT1); using test scores to assess capacity and thinking (DT2) and admission combining English certificate with test scores to assess capacity and thinking (DT3).

Accordingly, in the DT1 method, the highest benchmark score for International Business is 28.13, some majors with benchmark scores above 27 are E-commerce, Auditing, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Data Science in Economics and Business.

With the DT2 method, the benchmark score ranges from 18 to 24. Logistics and Supply Chain Management have the highest score, followed by International Business with 23.43. These are also the two majors with the highest benchmark score with the DT3 method, with 23.71 and 23.66 points respectively.

Tonight (July 21st), the school also announced the minimum admission score based on the 2023 high school graduation exam results, which is 20 points or higher, applicable to all majors.

Associate Professor Bui Duc Trieu, Head of the Training Management Department at the National Economics University, predicted that the cut-off scores based on high school graduation exam results this year would not decrease significantly compared to last year, possibly by 0.25 - 0.5 points, depending on the major.

As for "hot" majors like Marketing, International Business, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, the cutoff scores in 2022 were above 28, and it's unlikely they will increase much higher this year. Candidates can refer to the 2022 cutoff scores as a basis for adjusting their nguyện vọng (application preferences) accordingly, Mr. Trieu noted.
