In addition, the University of Transport also announced the admission scores based on a combined method and the results of the aptitude test administered by the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.

With the combined assessment method of IELTS certificate and academic transcript scores in Mathematics and one other subject from the admission combination (not a foreign language), the school only applies this method to candidates applying to study at the main campus, with scores ranging from 22.47 to 26.86.

The university uses the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's aptitude test scores for students studying at its Ho Chi Minh City branch campus. The passing score for this method ranges from 650 to 848 out of 1,200.

This year, the University of Transport and Communications is recruiting 5,860 students. In addition to the above methods, the university also offers direct admission, considers scores from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology's aptitude test, and evaluates high school graduation exam results.
