This year, 733,600 candidates nationwide registered for university entrance exams. Of these, nearly 673,600 were admitted in the first round, but more than 122,000 of them dropped out.

According to regulations, candidates who were not admitted in the first round or who were admitted but did not confirm their enrollment can register for supplementary admissions.

To date, more than 100 universities have announced supplementary admissions with thousands of vacancies. The minimum admission scores range from 17 to 28.58 points. The highest score belongs to the History and Geography Education major at Hong Duc University with only 2 vacancies.

The minimum admission scores for teacher training programs at some other universities, such as Hue University of Education, Quang Nam University, and Tay Nguyen University, are also higher compared to other fields of study.

Several popular majors such as Information Technology, Computer Science , Business Administration, Marketing, etc., also have many unfilled slots and universities have announced supplementary admissions. This is an opportunity for candidates who were not admitted in the first round of admissions.

According to Lao Dong newspaper, several universities have announced their supplementary admission scores for 2024.

For example, at the Vietnam Aviation Academy, the cutoff score for admission based on high school transcripts ranges from 18 to 23 points. For admission based on high school graduation exam scores, the cutoff score ranges from 18 to 20 points. Details of the cutoff scores for the supplementary admission round are as follows:

Universities such as Quy Nhon University, Phenikaa University, and Thu Dau Mot University have also announced the cut-off scores for the 2024 supplementary admission round.
