Minimum quality standards for admission to various programs at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
Meanwhile, the minimum entrance quality assurance threshold for 2024 for the university's 11 regular undergraduate programs ranges from 19 to 22.5 points.
Accordingly, the minimum admission score for the first round already includes priority points for region and priority group as stipulated in the current university admission regulations. Priority points (region and group) for candidates achieving a total score of 22.5 or higher (when converted to a 10-point scale and with a maximum total score of 30 for 3 subjects) are determined according to the following formula:
Priority points = [(30 – Total points achieved)/7.5] × Priority point level specified in the Admission Regulations.
The minimum score is applied to the admission method based on high school graduation exam scores and converted V-SAT exam scores. The entry threshold is determined equally across all subject combinations. If multiple candidates have the same admission score, the school prioritizes candidates based on their math scores, from highest to lowest, according to the quota.
The school does not use retained scores from the high school graduation exam and the V-SAT exam for admission.
The school will announce the list of successful candidates for the first round on August 22nd, published on the school's website at www.ctump.edu.vn under the admissions section. Afterward, candidates will complete the enrollment confirmation procedures as required.
