During a business trip in Khanh Hoa , To Hieu visited actor Thuong Tin.

He told VietNamNet reporter that Thuong Tin's health is stable, he gained about 3-4kg so his face is fuller, plus his beard and long hair make his appearance quite strange.

However, Thuong Tin is currently unable to walk by himself and needs help with all daily activities.

"When he first moved back to his hometown, he could still walk with a cane, although it was difficult, but now he can't, probably because he doesn't exercise regularly," said To Hieu.

Currently, Thuong Tin is being taken care of by his younger brother. He previously lived in Phan Thiet ward, Lam Dong province. He had to sell his house and move to Khanh Hoa to take care of his elderly mother and brother, without hiring a maid.

Because he just sat in one place and had no job, Thuong Tin was sad all day and night and spoke little. During the meeting with To Hieu, he "answered whatever was asked", and also complained about missing Ho Chi Minh City, his daughter, and the feeling of going to work.

The meeting was brief because the two did not have much in common. After being slandered by Thuong Tin, although he forgave him, To Hieu still limited his conversations with him.

In October 2024, actor Thuong Tin returned to his hometown and fell at the bus station. He was rushed to the hospital by locals. He was careless and did not go for a check-up, not expecting his condition to worsen.

When examined at the HCM City Orthopedic Trauma Hospital, the results showed that Thuong Tin’s right leg had a fractured patella and was beyond recovery. His left leg had severe knee arthritis and required long-term medication.

The doctor said his condition did not warrant surgery. So the actor accepted the reality and did not continue to treat his leg.
