Investigation to clarify 2 car fires at night

On the afternoon of December 8, Quang Tri Provincial Police are coordinating with relevant agencies to investigate and clarify two car fires that occurred during the night just a few hours apart.

Accordingly, at 2:00 a.m. on December 8, at Km 720 + 500, on the Cam Lo - Van Ninh Expressway in Con Tien commune, Quang Tri province, a car with license plate 75H-045.76 pulling a trailer with license plate 75RM-00361 driven by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Long (born in 1998), residing in Huong Tra commune, Hue city, suddenly caught fire.

Upon receiving the report, the fire department of Quang Tri Provincial Police arrived at the scene that same night to extinguish the fire.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Quang Tri Provincial Police (Fire Prevention and Rescue Department) immediately dispatched 2 fire trucks and 14 officers to the scene to participate in fire fighting.

By about 3:30 a.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished. It is known that the vehicle 75H-045.76 was carrying 30 tons of energy pellets. The fire did not cause any human casualties, property damage is being assessed.

The truck suddenly caught fire due to smoke coming out of the cabin. More than an hour later, the fire was controlled and extinguished by Quang Tri Police.

Then, at about 4:40 a.m. on December 8, at Km 636 on the North-South Expressway, through Hoan Lao Commune, Quang Tri Province, a truck with license plate 73H-00292 carrying cement, driven by Mr. Tuong Vinh Quang, residing in Hoa Trach Commune, Quang Tri Province, traveling in the North-South direction, suddenly caught fire at the above location from the cabin at the front of the vehicle, leading to a fire.

Police forces in Quang Tri province extinguished a car fire on the North-South expressway section passing through the province.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Quang Tri Provincial Police mobilized forces and vehicles to participate in handling the fire. After about 1 hour, the fire was controlled and extinguished.
