A 30-member Malaysian tourism famtrip delegation, including directors and sales managers from travel companies belonging to the Malaysia Travel and Tourism Association (MATTA), will conduct a three-day survey in Khanh Hoa province. According to the plan, after surveying Lam Dong province, on December 12th, the delegation will depart from Da Lat to Phan Rang, exploring potential tourist destinations in the southern part of Khanh Hoa province. This is an opportunity for Malaysian tourism businesspeople to experience the unique tourism products of this sunny and windy region, which has great potential for developing ecotourism, Cham culture, and local cuisine . Following this, the delegation will continue their survey of the Bai Dai area in Cam Lam district, exploring the potential for developing high-end resort tourism in the area.
On December 14th and 15th, the Malaysian famtrip delegation will survey famous tourist destinations in the Nha Trang area: Nha Trang Bay island tour, Po Nagar Cham Towers (a special national historical site), I-resort hot spring park, Champa Island; and participate in a meeting with Khanh Hoa tourism businesses and a Gala Dinner.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Thang, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, said that Malaysia is a potential market with a large number of outbound tourists, similar culture, and relatively close geographical proximity. Currently, there are four flights per week from Malaysia to Khanh Hoa, making it easy to attract tourists from this country. Welcoming this Malaysian famtrip delegation is part of a strategy to boost international market promotion, creating a breakthrough foundation for 2026 and subsequent years.
