Water levels in the Nhi Phuoc canal (part of the Sustainable Environment Project for Coastal Cities) are rising.

According to reports, many main roads such as Thong Nhat and Ngo Gia Tu were flooded from 10cm to 20cm; some residential areas around Phan Rang market and K1 urban area were flooded to a depth of 35cm to 50cm, causing difficulties for transportation and affecting the daily lives of residents. Due to the large volume of water flowing in at the same time, the drainage rate in the ward was slow, and some areas still have deep water.

Sections of Thong Nhat Street are flooded with water levels ranging from 10cm to 20cm.
In the K1 urban area of Phan Rang ward, some areas were flooded to a depth of 30cm to 50cm.

In response to the flooding, many schools in the area, such as Ly Tu Trong Secondary School and Tran Phu Secondary School, have proactively switched to online teaching and learning for the day to ensure the safety of students and minimize the risk of accidents when traveling through flooded roads.

Militia forces and community organizations are assisting residents in relocating their belongings in heavily flooded areas.

The People's Committee of Phan Rang Ward has deployed police, militia, and other organizations to assist residents in raising their belongings and relocating them in heavily flooded areas. Mr. Le Hoai Nam, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phan Rang Ward, stated: “The ward is mobilizing maximum resources to support residents, while closely monitoring the weather situation and providing timely warnings about flooded areas; we urge residents to limit travel through deep water areas and proactively take measures to ensure the safety of their property. The ward will continue to update information and coordinate with relevant agencies to monitor the flood situation in order to respond promptly and assist residents when necessary.”
