Supervisory delegation 1599 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee worked with Thuan Bac and Ninh Hai District Party Committees

On October 26th, the 1599 Monitoring Team of the Provincial Party Committee, led by Comrade Phan Tan Canh, Standing Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, held a working session with the Thuan Bac District Party Committee regarding the results of implementing Resolution No. 20-NQ/TU dated January 25, 2022, of the Provincial Party Committee on building Ninh Thuan into a national energy and renewable energy center by 2025, with a vision to 2030.

Implementing Resolution No. 20-NQ/TU, the Thuan Bac District Party Committee issued a plan directing Party committees, government agencies, departments, and mass organizations at all levels to strengthen propaganda, dissemination, and thorough understanding; assigning specific responsibilities to each agency and unit to focus on implementation. The organization of planning, mechanisms, and policies for renewable energy development is ensured and appropriate to the local characteristics. To date, the district has 9 renewable energy projects with a total capacity of 913.225 MW; of which 6 wind and solar power projects have entered commercial operation, with an annual electricity output of approximately 2,540 million kWh and revenue exceeding 4,500 billion VND/year. Investment has been made in renovating and developing 24,969 km of medium-voltage power grids and 12,803 km of low-voltage power grids; and 33 transformer substations with a total capacity of 5,853 kVA.

Comrade Phan Tan Canh, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, delivered a speech at the working session with the Thuan Bac District Party Committee.

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the proactive spirit of the Thuan Bac District Party Committee in implementing Resolution No. 20-NQ/TU. He requested the District Party Committee and the District People's Committee to continue to effectively promote their leadership and guidance in achieving the targets and objectives set forth in the resolution. He urged the synchronized implementation of land use plans and the effective mobilization and utilization of resources for infrastructure and technical facilities to attract investors, especially secondary investors, to fill industrial parks and clusters in the district. He also emphasized the importance of administrative reform, strengthening coordination with investors to expedite compensation and land clearance for projects, and promoting the dissemination, inspection, and supervision of the implementation of Resolution No. 20-NQ/TU.

* On the same day, the 1599 Monitoring Team of the Provincial Party Committee, led by Comrade Phan Tan Canh, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, held a working session with the Ninh Hai District Party Committee on the above matter.

At the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Ninh Hai District Party Committee to continue disseminating information to officials, civil servants, and the people about the contents and objectives of Resolution No. 20-NQ/TU. He also requested close coordination with relevant agencies to review, supplement, and refine planning to ensure feasibility, effectiveness, and suitability to the local reality. Furthermore, he urged efforts to improve the investment and business environment, simplify administrative procedures, promptly address difficulties and obstacles, and create favorable conditions to encourage organizations and businesses to participate in renewable energy development in the district.
