On August 8th, the specialized monitoring team of the Legal Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council on crime prevention and control and drug abuse prevention in the province from 2020 to May 2023 held a working session with the Ninh Hai District Police.

In recent times, the fight against drug-related crimes and social evils in Ninh Hai district has achieved many positive results, contributing to the stability of security and social order. Party committees, organizations, the government, departments, and mass organizations, especially the district police force, have decisively implemented plans and solutions to combat drug-related crimes. Emphasis has been placed on propaganda and mobilization of the people to actively participate in the "All People Protect National Security" movement, focusing on grassroots levels with diverse and practical content and forms... As a result, many cases of illegal drug possession and trafficking have been dismantled; cases and individuals violating drug-related laws have been promptly investigated, prosecuted, and severely punished; self-governing models for security and order at the grassroots level have continued to be strengthened and maintained; and the management of drug addicts and illegal drug users continues to receive attention and focus...

During the working session, the Supervisory Delegation highly appreciated the efforts and achievements of the Ninh Hai District Police in the past period; and requested the unit to continue to promote its responsible and leading role, actively advising on and implementing solutions to improve the effectiveness of crime prevention and drug abuse control in the locality. In particular, they emphasized strengthening coordination with various sectors, levels, the Fatherland Front, and other associations and organizations to promote and innovate propaganda and mobilization efforts among all segments of the population to actively participate in the "All People Protect National Security" movement, aiming to promptly detect, prevent, and handle crimes and drug-related crimes, contributing to ensuring security, order, and social safety in the locality.
