Attending the meeting were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Tran Minh Nam, Head of the Provincial Party Propaganda Department; Chamalea Thi Thuy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, and relevant departments, agencies, and units.
Over a year after the implementation of Resolution No. 21/NQ-TU, the management and use of land, natural resources, and environmental protection in Thuan Nam district have seen many positive changes. The development, completion, management, and implementation of plans, mechanisms, policies, and finances related to land, natural resources, and environmental protection have received significant attention. The dissemination of policies and laws, as well as inspection and supervision, have been strengthened. Currently, 100% of eligible land plots have been guided by local authorities to obtain land use right certificates for households and individuals in accordance with the correct procedures and legal regulations. The management of natural resources, especially unexploited minerals, has received timely guidance from the District Party Committee and the District People's Committee. Awareness of environmental protection has improved, particularly among people in coastal communes. Currently, the rate of household waste collected and centrally processed has reached 94%...
Comrade Tran Minh Luc, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, delivered the concluding remarks at the meeting.
Concluding the working session, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council highly appreciated the achievements in land management, natural resources, and environmental protection in Thuan Nam district in the past period. He pointed out the limitations and shortcomings in leadership, management, and administration, as well as pressing issues; and requested the District Party Committee to continue reviewing the goals and tasks set out in Resolution No. 21/NQ-TU, and on that basis, strengthen propaganda work and raise awareness among officials and the people. He emphasized the importance of planning, planning management, management of public land, and natural resources. He also stressed the need to develop environmental protection models and actively apply information technology and integrate land data for more effective management.
