From the afternoon and evening of May 29, within the framework of the national festival of Lady Chua Xu Nui Sam 2024 (Chau Doc city, An Giang province), a ceremony took place to carry the statue of the Lady from the stone pedestal on the top of Sam mountain to the Lady Chua Xu Nui Sam temple.

The ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere, following traditional rituals such as: Opening Ceremony - climbing the mountain - inviting the Holy Mother; offering incense to the martyrs' altar; moving the Lady's palanquin from the Martyrs' Monument to the top of Sam Mountain to perform the ceremony of inviting the Lady's robe and crown onto the palanquin.
After the ceremony of carrying the statue of the Lady from the top of the mountain down to its resting place in Nui Sam ward, Chau Doc city.
At the temple yard of Ba Chua Xu Nui Sam, the village elders re-enacted the story of carrying the statue and building a temple to worship her in a theatrical form.
The national festival of Lady of Sam Mountain is a unique festival that has existed for a long time, imbued with the cultural, spiritual and religious values of the people in the Southern river region, attracting a large number of pilgrims, worshippers and participants.
After 10 years, the Festival of Lady of Sam Mountain was listed as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
In addition to raising the pride and awareness of the community in preserving and protecting the festival, the Via Ba Chua Xu Nui Sam Festival also contributes to enhancing its value, increasing its attractiveness and attracting tourists, while creating cultural and tourism products from heritage, promoting local economic development.
