Comrade Mai Xuan Binh holds the position of Director of Thanh Hoa Department of Justice

On the afternoon of February 28th, the Thanh Hoa Department of Justice held a conference to announce the Decisions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel matters. Mr. Nguyen Van Thi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, attended the conference.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi presented the decision and offered flowers to congratulate comrades Bui Dinh Son and Mai Xuan Binh.

At the conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Internal Affairs Nguyen Giang Nam announced the Decisions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee regarding the retirement of Mr. Bui Dinh Son, an official under the management of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, effective from March 1, 2025, pending reaching the retirement age; and the Decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Mai Xuan Binh, Provincial Party Committee member and Head of the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Committee, to the position of Director of the Department of Justice, with a term of appointment of 5 years from March 1, 2025.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Van Thi, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged and praised the contributions of Comrade Bui Dinh Son, Director of the Thanh Hoa Department of Justice, throughout his tenure.

In the context of implementing the policy of streamlining personnel and reorganizing the organizational structure in accordance with Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Comrade Bui Dinh Son proactively proposed early retirement and was unanimously approved by the Provincial Party Standing Committee. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee decided to grant him early retirement effective March 1, 2025. His actions demonstrate a sacrifice for the common good, for the sustainable development of the Justice sector and the province; he is a shining example of responsibility and motivation for generations of cadres and civil servants to emulate and learn from.

Presenting the Decision and congratulatory flowers to Comrade Mai Xuan Binh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi stated: The Department of Justice is a specialized agency directly under the Provincial People's Committee, playing an important role in advising and assisting the Provincial People's Committee in performing its functions of state management in the field of justice and tasks related to law, ensuring law enforcement, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of citizens, and contributing to building a socialist rule of law state. In recent times, the work of justice in the province has received great attention from all levels and sectors, showing many progressive changes and making a significant contribution to improving the investment and business environment, which is a prerequisite for promoting the socio -economic development of the province.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi expressed confidence that, in his new position, Comrade Mai Xuan Binh will continue to utilize his intellect and dedication, foster a spirit of unity, and focus on directing the province's judicial sector to successfully complete all assigned tasks; while also continuing to streamline the organizational structure to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Department of Justice.

In his acceptance speech, the new Director of the Department of Justice, Mai Xuan Binh, thanked the provincial leaders for their trust in him. He affirmed that this was both an honor and a great responsibility. In his new position, he personally will always strive, together with the Board of Directors, the collective of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the justice sector, to closely follow the functions and tasks of the sector to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
