Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nhan holds the position of Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap

The Dong Thap Industrial Park and Economic Zone Trade Union was established under Decision 212 dated September 29, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor. Currently, in industrial parks and clusters, there are 110 grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) and 2 trade unions, with 85,073 union members.

Comrade Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui, President of Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation, spoke at the conference.

With a proactive spirit, immediately after its establishment, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap focused on directing the preparation work for the organization of the 1st Executive Committee Conference.

At the same time, outstanding activities have been carried out such as: Guiding and supporting the activities of newly established trade unions; focusing on monitoring and grasping the ideological situation, life and work of union members and workers; labor relations in enterprises have been maintained stably and have developed.

The Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap, term I, 2025 - 2030, introduced itself at the conference.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap focuses on strongly innovating its organization and operations, constantly affirming its position, with main goals such as: focusing on performing the task of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; strengthening the development of union members' interests, taking interests as a rallying point to attract union members and workers; contributing to building a modern and strong working class, a pioneering force in building and defending the Fatherland of Vietnam; participating in building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.

The Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap received symbolic sponsorship plaques from business leaders, supporting union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

In the new term, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap will carry out three main breakthroughs: focusing resources on performing the task of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers; implementing insurance, salary and working conditions for workers; innovating the methods of Trade Union activities, promoting the development of union members, establishing grassroots trade unions, focusing on digital transformation, continuing to promote the application of information technology in Trade Union activities...

Speaking at the conference, comrade Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui requested the new Executive Committee to continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, proactively introduce and implement many diverse and practical models of activities, clearly demonstrating the role of caring for the lives of union members and workers. She emphasized the need to focus on caring for union members' welfare; guide grassroots unions to negotiate and sign welfare programs and collective labor agreements with harmonious terms that benefit both sides...

The conference approved the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor on the appointment of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and positions of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap, term I, 2025 - 2030. The Executive Committee consists of 15 comrades; the Standing Committee consists of 5 comrades, the Inspection Committee consists of 5 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nhan holds the position of Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap.
