Dong Nai proposes to increase the exploitation of construction stone to serve key national traffic projects during holidays and days off.

(DN) - On April 29, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc signed Document No. 5137/UBND-KTN to the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, Director of the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board and mineral exploitation enterprises in the province on increasing the exploitation of construction stone to serve the national key traffic project.

Accordingly, to ensure sufficient material sources for key national and provincial traffic projects, especially during the "golden" period (dry season), Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc requested construction stone mining enterprises in the province to increase the time of mining, processing, and supplying construction stone to investors and contractors, regardless of holidays, days off, and nights (shifts 2 and 3). At the same time, ensure labor safety in mining and environmental protection.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc also assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to deploy the above direction to construction stone mining enterprises for information and implementation.

In the document, the Provincial People's Committee also agreed to allocate the volume of rock from Tan Cang 6 mine (not yet allocated to any project) to the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board and the contractor signed a contract to supply for projects under the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc requested the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to contact the Dong Nai General Agricultural Service Cooperative Union to be provided with materials according to demand, especially on holidays. According to the review, currently, Tan Cang 6 quarry still has 450 thousand ^cubic meters of stone that have not been allocated to any project.

Previously, the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board also sent a document to the Provincial People's Committee reflecting on the slow supply of construction stone for traffic construction, affecting the progress of the projects.
