On December 3, Comrade Tran Van Son, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister, Head of the Government Office, led a working delegation to work with Dong Nai province regarding the implementation of the program to reduce and simplify administrative procedures and the one-stop shop and inter-connected one-stop shop mechanisms.

Before working with the Provincial People's Committee, Minister, Head of the Government Office Tran Van Son and members of the working delegation surveyed activities at the Bien Hoa Ward Public Administration Service Center and the Dong Nai Province Public Administration Service Center.

According to the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, from July 1 to November 30, the total number of records recorded on the Administrative Procedure Information System was more than 729 thousand records. Of which, the online rate reached more than 97%; the rate of online payment records reached nearly 99%; the rate of early, on-time, and within-time settlement reached 99%.

Regarding the results of the index of serving people and businesses in performing administrative procedures and providing public services according to the National Public Service Portal, up to now, Dong Nai province has achieved 92.2/100 points, an increase of 19 points; ranked 3rd/34 provinces and cities nationwide and increased 12 ranks compared to the assessment results in early July.

Dong Nai province leaders said that in recent times, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee have led and directed the drastic implementation of administrative reform, creating a clear, comprehensive and effective change in serving people and businesses, especially after the province's merger and implementation of the 2-level local government model.

Deploying many new models and solutions in units and localities, especially public administrative service centers, many new models and solutions have been flexibly applied, suitable to the growing needs of people and businesses.

At the same time, Dong Nai province is concerned with tightening discipline and administrative order by vigorously organizing and implementing inspection and supervision of administrative reform and public service responsibilities at units and localities; focusing on inspecting the public service responsibilities of cadres, civil servants and public employees in the process of receiving and processing documents for people and businesses....

With the spirit of innovation, discipline, order and service, Dong Nai is gradually affirming its position as a pioneering locality in administrative reform, building e-government, towards digital government, an administration for the people, by the people and serving the people.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister and Head of the Government Office Tran Van Son acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by Dong Nai province in implementing the program of reducing and simplifying administrative procedures and the one-stop shop and inter-connected one-stop shop mechanism. Dong Nai province is currently one of the three leading localities in the country in implementing the satisfaction index in receiving and handling administrative procedures.

Head of the Government Office Tran Van Son requested Dong Nai province to continue to make efforts to fulfill the targets and tasks related to the program of cutting and simplifying administrative procedures and the one-stop shop and one-stop shop mechanism. In particular, the province needs to continue to review and arrange enough human resources, facilities and equipment for the operation of the Commune-level Public Administration Service Center. Along with that, pay attention to completing the goal of 100% of administrative procedures without administrative boundaries, promoting the provision of online public services to businesses.
