Breakthrough in improving the quality of education and training in logistics and engineering to meet practical situations

Major General Huynh Tan Hung, Deputy Director of the General Department of Logistics and Technology, gave a directive speech.

In 2025, Military Technical College 1 and Logistics College 1 thoroughly grasped and implemented all aspects of work; many contents achieved good results, notably: Good completion of training and education contents and programs, ensuring quality, on schedule; many contents were improved.

The two schools have successfully completed the extraordinary tasks assigned by the General Department. Political education and ideological orientation work have been carried out in a systematic and effective manner, and participation in competitions and sports events has achieved good results. The Party Congresses at all levels in the school Party Committee and the congresses of mass organizations for the 2025-2030 term were successfully organized in accordance with procedures and principles, promoting democracy and collective intelligence.

The work of building a regular system and training discipline has been implemented synchronously and effectively, the projects and works to upgrade the school have been carried out according to plan. The logistics, technical and financial work has been led and directed to ensure good operation of all school activities. The political and ideological situation of the whole school is basically stable; the internal unity and solidarity have been maintained, and all assigned tasks have been completed.

In 2026, the two schools will continue to thoroughly grasp and implement resolutions, projects, directives and instructions from superiors on education and training; continue to make breakthroughs in improving the quality of education and training; promote digital transformation in performing tasks; continue to improve the quality of training and discipline enforcement.

Based on the report's content, delegates participated in many discussions and evaluated the results achieved in all aspects of work; pointed out the causes, limitations, and responsibilities of the commanders and at the same time proposed practical measures to successfully carry out the tasks in 2026.

Major General Huynh Tan Hung acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that the two schools had achieved. At the same time, he requested the two schools to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the resolutions and directives of the Party, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Education and Training and the General Department of Logistics and Technology on education and training, and apply them closely to the practical situation of the unit.

Major General Huynh Tan Hung requested the two schools to step up the implementation of education and training tasks in line with the motto: "The quality of training of the school is the combat readiness of the unit", considering this as the core criterion in organizing teaching and management. Strengthening the training of moral qualities and political mettle for the staff, lecturers and students. Cadres at all levels must set an example, closely follow the grassroots; effectively teach, learn and test effectively. At the same time, commanders at all levels need to do well the "3 readiness", pay attention to policy work, the military rear; and practically care for the lives and health of soldiers.

The two schools proactively invited heads of specialized departments and professional agencies to give lectures and exchange experiences; increased exchanges with academies and schools throughout the army; invited experts from the General Department of Legal Education to strengthen discipline and regularity. Promote digital transformation and apply simulation in teaching to meet the requirements of innovation in military technical training. Officers, lecturers, staff, students and soldiers of the two schools need to uphold the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, determination to overcome difficulties, complete all tasks well, and build schools that are increasingly standardized, modern and strong in all aspects.

At the conference, the two schools summarized the 2025 Emulation Movement and launched the 2026 Emulation Movement. On this occasion, the Head of the General Department of Logistics and Technology and the Board of Directors of the two schools presented awards to collectives and individuals who had excellently completed their tasks in 2025.
