This information was released by Dragon Capital Vietnam, a fund management company, in response to the controversy surrounding the "When Women Invest" contest organized by the "Home Decor Addicts Community" on Facebook.
Dragon Capital Vietnam explained that the company was merely a sponsor of the "When Women Invest" contest organized by the "Home Enthusiasts Community" on Facebook, with the aim of contributing to a healthy and beneficial platform for members to share their investment experiences in various aspects of life.
The company asserts that it is not involved in the personal financial activities or past transactions of any contestant.
Regarding the sponsorship of the competition, Dragon Capital Vietnam stated that this is part of the company's long-term strategy to enhance financial literacy among individual investors, particularly encouraging women to proactively cultivate investment skills and experience to build a solid financial foundation.

Dragon Capital Vietnam explains its sponsorship of the competition.
"We are always committed to upholding our core values of transparency and compliance with the law in all our activities and initiatives implemented in Vietnam," the announcement stated.
According to an investigation by a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, the incident stemmed from a post by a member named NNA on the "Home Addicts Community" group, sharing her family's journey of leaving Hanoi and moving to Hoi An, accompanied by a picture of their house in Hoi An.
Shortly after that post was published, many people accused NNA of soliciting and encouraging people to invest in ways that violated legal regulations. Notably, this member's post included the hashtags #Khiphunudautu and #DragonCapitalVietnam, leading members to suspect that the administrators of the "Home Addicts Community" and Dragon Capital organized and sponsored a contest with members participating in unreliable investment schemes, thus provoking a strong backlash.
Later, this person voluntarily removed it from the group.

The administrators of the "Home Decor Addicts" community on Facebook, with 2.5 million members, also spoke out about NNA's controversial post.
In addition to Dragon Capital's response to NNA's article, the community's management also affirmed: "We have never and will never associate with any individual or group to solicit investment in assets not regulated by Vietnamese law."
The management board of the Home Decor Addicts community, with over 2.5 million members, stated that the launch of the contest (sponsored by Dragon Capital Vietnam) aims to share images of home spaces and stories from its members, honoring women during the month themed around International Women's Day on March 8th.
