Just a few days after its release, the MV “My House Has a Flag” with the collaboration between DTAP and singer Ha Anh Tuan, which Can Tho Newspaper mentioned in previous articles, has created a special musical phenomenon. The song has spread from social networks to real life. On DTAP’s YouTube page, there are many comments like this: “7 years ago when I left Vietnam, the first thing I put in my luggage was the national flag. Thank you for a meaningful and touching video. The country is always in my heart!”; “I live abroad but always keep the national flag with me…”… And there are many other emotional shares of music lovers when listening to this song. We can see that the power of conveying patriotism through music is truly great.
“My house has a flag hanging” is one of 16 songs in the album “Made in Vietnam” produced by DTAP, released on September 2 this year. The album brings together 25 famous singers and artists in the Vietnamese music market today. Everyone is willing to join DTAP because they feel the meaning of the project.
Another product worth mentioning is the album's title track - "Made in Vietnam", with the participation of People's Artist Thanh Hoa, singer Phuong My Chi and Truc Nhan. The train from North to South, passing through famous landscapes as the background for the song to convey the quintessence of Vietnamese culture with youthful and beautiful lyrics. Many people even "question" that the MV was made by AI because the images are too poetic and delicate but it is truly "Made in Vietnam"!
The 16 songs in the album “Made in Vietnam” were composed and polished by DTAP for over a year to be released in time for this important event. Many of the remaining songs are very good, such as “Hello Vietnam” (intro), “Golden Forest, Silver Sea” (Suboi, Isaac), “Red Blood, Yellow Skin” (People’s Artist Thanh Thuy, Vo Ha Tram), “Southern Country’s Mountains and Rivers” (People’s Artist Bach Tuyet, Phao), “Small Phenomenon” (Den Vau, Hong Nhung), “Wind Blows on the Roof” (My Tam)… DTAP divided the album into 3 chapters, with the first chapter introducing the identity, resources and sovereignty of Vietnam; the middle chapter talks about the Vietnamese way of life that values loyalty, love for the homeland and roots, and ends with the theme of belief in the bright future of Vietnam.
The greatest success of this album as well as many previous music products of DTAP is the skillful use of cultural and literary materials of the nation into the songs, with the combination of youthful music and catchy melodies. This is what has created a strong influence for the songs. For example, from the poem "Nam Quoc Son Ha" by the famous general Ly Thuong Kiet, DTAP wrote a very good song of the same name, especially through the voice of People's Artist Bach Tuyet, the listeners are moved when each verse is sung.
