Weather forecast July 2, 2024: Many places in the North will have heavy rain

The Northern Delta area will have showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall ranging from 15-30mm, locally over 80mm.

From the afternoon of July 4, heavy rain in the mountainous and midland areas of the North is likely to gradually decrease. The Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has warned that people need to be on guard against the risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas and flooding in low-lying areas. Beware of heavy rain in a short period of time causing flooding in urban areas. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Today's weather in the Northern Delta and Hoa Binh is hot with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-37 degrees; the lowest relative humidity commonly ranging from 55-60%. The Central region is hot and extremely hot with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-38 degrees, some places above 38 degrees; the lowest relative humidity commonly ranging from 50-55%.

From July 3, the heat wave in the North is likely to end; the area from Nghe An to Quang Ngai will be hot, some places will be extremely hot with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-37 degrees, some places over 38 degrees; the lowest relative humidity commonly ranges from 55-60%.
