On the evening of February 29, information from the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association in Ho Chi Minh City said that the unit, in collaboration with Cinestar Hai Ba Trung cinema complex, organized a free screening of the film Dao, Pho and Piano for Lao and Cambodian students studying abroad in Ho Chi Minh City at 7:00 p.m. on March 1.
According to the Organizing Committee, the selection of the film Dao, Pho and Piano aims to create opportunities for Lao and Cambodian students to learn about the history of the struggle for national liberation and protection of the Fatherland by the Vietnamese army and people during the resistance war against France.
Thereby helping to introduce good images of Vietnamese people, strengthening the connection and affection between Lao and Cambodian students and Vietnamese host families.
The Lao Student Dormitory Association in Ho Chi Minh City will be in charge of implementing the program.
Peach, Pho and Piano is considered an unprecedented box office phenomenon in Vietnamese cinema.
