According to the organizers, the selection of the film "Peach, Pho, and Piano" aims to provide Lao and Cambodian students with an opportunity to learn about the history of the Vietnamese people and army's struggle for national liberation and defense during the resistance war against the French.
This helps to showcase the positive image of the Vietnamese people and strengthen the bond and affection between Lao and Cambodian students and their Vietnamese host families.
The Lao Student Dormitory Association in Ho Chi Minh City will be responsible for implementing the program.
