Tourists are captivated by the beauty of Moc Chau.
Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hoa ( Hanoi ) said that it only takes 4 hours by car to reach Moc Chau plateau (Son La). Amidst the typical weather of the Northwest, the temperature is around 6 degrees Celsius with a little morning mist that quickly dissipates when the sun comes out.
"The cold of Moc Chau plateau makes anyone feel the unique weather of Northwest Vietnam in winter."
"Anyone who comes here is captivated by the beauty of the mountains and nature. Moc Chau is majestic and stands out with the vibrant pink of peach blossoms and the pristine white of plum blossoms in full bloom," Ms. Hoa happily shared.
Overwhelmed by the rose garden, Mr. Tran Manh Hung ( from Bac Giang ) and his family, along with 15 other people, arrived in Moc Chau on the afternoon of January 17th.
He said this was his first time visiting Moc Chau during the season when peach blossoms, plum blossoms, and rose gardens are at their most vibrant. Three hundred rose bushes, each laden with fruit.
Hung also said that he rarely takes personal photos, but like many others, he has taken many beautiful pictures.
Besides taking photos, admiring the poetic beauty of nature, and enjoying the tranquility, many tourists also buy flowers and Moc Chau specialties such as dried persimmons, sticky rice, etc., to eat and celebrate Tet.
Depending on the type and age of the peach blossoms, such as rock peach blossoms or ancient peach blossoms, the price is higher, but you can still buy a very beautiful branch of peach or plum blossoms for just a few tens of thousands to 100,000 VND.

Farmers' incomes have increased thanks to tourists coming to check in.
Mr. Nguyen Huy Ty, owner of a 2-hectare plum orchard in the Na Ka plum valley (Moc Chau - Son La ), said that in previous years, farmers here only grew plums for their fruit. The profits were very low. But in the last 3-4 years, the income from Moc Chau plums has increased significantly for the local people.
“From December, especially in the days leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year), when peach and plum blossoms are at their most beautiful, Moc Chau attracts a large number of tourists. For example, on weekends before Tet, there are about 350-400 visitors each day to the plum orchards to take photos and admire the peach and plum blossoms. The entrance fee is 30,000 VND per person, or 25,000 VND per person for groups of 10 or more. Thanks to this, the income of the local people has improved,” Mr. Ty said.
Ms. Giang Thi Sang, a vendor in the Na Ka plum valley, said that with less than 10 days left until Tet (Lunar New Year), tourists not only come to admire the peach blossoms and take photos but also to buy Moc Chau specialties.
Each day, she sells several dozen branches of peach blossoms, plum blossoms, and various kinds of green vegetables, earning a total income of about 1-1.2 million VND.
