The 2023 Digital Transformation Festival in Loc Ha ended with exciting, meaningful and effective activities in Thach My commune. Thanks to being widely informed and promoted, and carefully organized, the "digitalization" festival in this area attracted about 650 officials, teachers, people, businesses, and high school students to respond, register to create accounts, and install services on smartphones, tablets, etc.

Chairman of Thach My Commune People's Committee Phan Thanh Tuan said: "We determined that digital transformation must take people as the center and the subject, so we have organized and implemented many specific and practical activities, of which the digital transformation festival is considered the highlight. Through the festival, we have called on and encouraged people of all walks of life to change their awareness and responsibility towards progress, modernity and to accompany the government in implementing digital transformation programs and plans in a timely, effective and practical manner."

Mr. Tran Dinh Hoan (Huu Ninh village, Thach My commune) said: “Knowing that digital transformation will bring many benefits, I responded enthusiastically. At the digital transformation festival, volunteers integrated documents such as: driver's license, vehicle registration, vehicle insurance, tax code into citizen identification; advised on opening a payment account, instructed on using electronic banking services; installed customer care services and non-cash electricity bill payments... In addition, I was also equipped and provided with more knowledge and awareness to avoid being scammed in cyberspace".

Up to this point, all communes and towns in Loc Ha have completed organizing the digital transformation festival. This event attracted about 6,000 people to directly participate and ensured the right purpose, meaning and effect.

Through the digital transformation festival, from June 17 to now, relevant agencies and units have simultaneously supported people to create 5,500 accounts on national public services and distributed thousands of leaflets instructing on identifying 24 forms of fraud in cyberspace.

Loc Ha Electricity supports the installation of customer care software and instructions for cashless electricity payment.

Based on their professional functions and tasks, many authorities have actively and synchronously participated to support people in effective digital transformation. Accordingly, the public administration center supports the creation of national public service accounts and sends and receives administrative procedures online;

The police force supports the integration of electronic identification, registration and use of electronic identification accounts, online residence notification, online crime reporting; the tax sector supports people in paying electronic taxes according to the Etac system, submitting electronic records to register for tax services; the social insurance sector guides the installation of VSSID, submitting insurance cards, social insurance, withdrawing or submitting new insurance records...

Police force supports Binh An residents to install integrated electronic identification.

In addition, public service units and credit institutions in the area have also actively accompanied to support people to access and benefit from the most convenient services based on information technology. Accordingly, banks have supported people to open payment accounts, guided them to use electronic banking services, and electricity and water bill collection services.

Telecommunications units support registration, modify mobile subscriber information, issue mobile SIM cards for people to register for electronic identification, and advise on using appropriate packages; post offices support postal services, provide consultation on services to issue criminal records for people going abroad, civil servants, express delivery, etc.

Mai Phu Commune is the locality that responds most positively to digital transformation.

This event has contributed to raising awareness among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life about the role, significance and benefits of digital transformation to create consensus, determination, responsibility and efficiency.
