According to the report of the Commune People's Committee, after the merger, Duc Hoa has an area of 63.31 km², a population of more than 63,500 people and 15 hamlets and neighborhoods. The Commune People's Committee focuses on streamlining the administrative apparatus, implementing socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security, gradually creating changes in agricultural production, building civilized urban areas and attracting investment.

Regarding investment and development, the commune currently has 6 industrial parks, 4 industrial clusters, 27 residential projects and more than 2,900 individual business households in operation, creating growth momentum, contributing to the local budget exceeding the estimate by more than 135%. Basic construction work achieved a disbursement rate of 70%, compensation and site clearance projects were implemented vigorously, many complicated cases were mobilized and resolved.

Along with economic development, the fields of education , health, culture - society, policies for people with meritorious services, and social security continue to be guaranteed. Administrative reform and digital transformation have recorded progress, with the rate of on-time file settlement reaching 100%, and the rate of online files over 91%.

At the working session, Duc Hoa Commune People's Committee proposed that the Provincial People's Committee and departments and branches promptly support the removal of difficulties related to: land use planning - planning, procedures for granting land use right certificates, determining land financial obligations, regulations on domestic waste collection, resources for investment in social infrastructure, and arranging staff in accordance with population size.

Representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Environment gave opinions and resolved some difficulties and problems.

In addition, the locality also proposed that the province support investment funding to build the Duc Hoa Commune Political-Administrative Center, complete key traffic infrastructure, handle traffic congestion on DT824 and DT825 routes, and resolve difficulties in receiving and managing infrastructure of new residential areas.

Concluding the working session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Van Son acknowledged the efforts of the Duc Hoa Commune People's Committee in a short time to stabilize the organizational structure, effectively implement key tasks and initially make an impression in operating the two-level government model.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Duc Hoa is a dynamic development area, a gateway connecting to key economic zones, so the two-level government model must ensure proactive, flexible and effective management, especially in urban planning, land management, investment attraction, industrial development, urban services and social infrastructure.

Mr. Huynh Van Son requested Duc Hoa commune to strengthen internal solidarity, continue to improve the organization and apparatus; focus on reviewing planning, proposing appropriate adjustments to the urban development orientation until 2030; promote budget collection, disbursement of public investment, speed up site clearance for projects in the commune; well implement the Party and State's policies on expenditure management, anti-waste; at the same time, improve the quality of service to people and businesses, promote digital transformation and administrative reform; in addition, it is necessary to do a good job of social security, carefully prepare for Lunar New Year activities in 2026.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned relevant departments and branches to urgently provide professional guidance, complete mechanisms and policies to support localities, and at the same time requested the Commune People's Committee to develop an action program with specific milestones to effectively carry out tasks in the coming time./.
