Expecting a new journey

This is an opportunity for the locality to focus resources on developing diverse, high-quality and sustainable tourism , forming a modern and smart inter-regional tourism ecosystem, aiming to become the new tourism growth pole of the country.

Lam Dong tourism industry has just developed a plan to implement solutions to ensure the growth target of the fourth quarter of 2025, striving to attract nearly 7.76 million more visitors, completing the annual target of more than 23 million visitors. Revenue in the fourth quarter is expected to reach about VND 12,000 billion, bringing the total revenue of the year to more than VND 52,270 billion, far exceeding the plan of VND 46,000 billion.
Entering 2026, Lam Dong tourism industry aims to welcome 25.75 million visitors (up 12% compared to 2025), including 1.8 million international visitors (up 38.5%). Along with the formation of "plateau - sea - geology", "mountain - forest - sea" routes and the "Phan Thiet - Da Lat - Ta Dung" triangle, Lam Dong focuses on developing high-value tourism products such as: sea tourism, eco-resort, heritage - indigenous culture, high-tech agriculture, along with types of adventure sports tourism, wellness, MICE and night economy.
Quickly overcome limitations
Despite possessing many potentials and advantages, Lam Dong tourism still faces limitations in terms of connecting traffic infrastructure. Currently, the province has the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay and Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressways put into use, and is preparing to start construction on the Tan Phu - Bao Loc, Bao Loc - Lien Khuong and Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh routes. In addition, Lien Khuong Airport has been approved for planning to become an international port in the period of 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050; while Phan Thiet Airport is completing investment procedures.
After the merger, the transport infrastructure connecting the three centers of Da Lat - Phan Thiet - Gia Nghia and the tourist areas and spots in the province is still limited, causing difficulties in organizing inter-regional tours and developing integrated tourism products. Therefore, in the coming time, the province will focus on completing the infrastructure, especially key expressways such as Gia Nghia - Phan Thiet, Dau Giay - Lien Khuong, Nha Trang - Da Lat, while accelerating the upgrading of National Highway 28 and coastal routes to promote sustainable tourism development.
Entering a new phase, Lam Dong tourism industry focuses on overcoming limitations in international promotion and advertising, aiming to build a classy destination image, in harmony between nature, culture and modern services. In addition to the key domestic market, the province will promote promotion to potential markets such as Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East. At the same time, coordinate with ministries and branches to promote the opening of international charter flights from Korea, Taiwan and Southeast Asia to Lien Khuong airport, towards Phan Thiet. At the same time, continue to attract strategic, reputable and potential investors to implement large-scale, high-end projects, creating a driving force for sustainable tourism growth.
According to the set goals for the period 2026 - 2030, Lam Dong tourism strives to achieve an average visitor growth rate of 12%/year (of which international visitors account for 8 - 10%) and achieve an average tourism revenue growth of 12 - 15%/year...
