Epik High wears conical hats on stage, promises to hold concert in Vietnam

Epik High had an explosive performance at HAY FEST 2023, welcomed by thousands of Vietnamese audiences.

On the evening of September 30, the music event HAY Glamping Music Festival 2023 (HAY FEST 2023) took place at Yen So Park, bringing Hanoi audiences memorable moments.

Besides famous Vpop stars and US - UK singers, the music festival attracted the attention of the audience when it invited Epik High - Korea's leading hip hop group to perform.

Around 10:00 p.m., Epik High appeared and burned up the atmosphere with their famous hits.

The members actively interacted with Vietnamese fans, wearing conical hats and taking pictures with fans.

In particular, Epik High promised to bring a concert within the framework of their world tour to Vietnam next year because Vietnamese fans are so enthusiastic and warm. Tablo said that if Seoul is the hometown of the 3 members, then Vietnam will become the distant home that they always cherish.

Mithrajin shared that he regretted not coming to Vietnam sooner. "I had some problems at the airport and had to wait for 30 hours, but when I arrived here and saw your faces, I felt extremely happy," the rapper shared.

Meanwhile, Tablo received gifts and conical hats from fans and enthusiastically tried them on. The male rapper actively stirred up the atmosphere, even asking an interpreter to teach him how to count "one two three" in Vietnamese to lead the performance.

During nearly an hour of performance, Epik High performed familiar songs such as "No Thanxxx", "Rain Song", "Love Love", "Home Is Far Away"... These are all hits associated with the youth of many audiences.

Right after finishing the performance on stage, member Tablo posted a video on his personal Instagram to thank Vietnamese fans for cheering on the group during the memorable show.

Before setting foot in Vietnam for the first time, Epik High shared in the artist announcement video: "Hello Vietnam. We are coming to you, to Hanoi on September 30. Come see us for great moments. Let's "Map The Soul" and have "Sleepless" nights together." "Map The Soul" and "Sleepless" are two of the songs associated with Epik High's name.

Besides Epik High, HAY Fest 2023 will feature the participation of Vietnamese stars: Suboi, JustaTee, MCK, Trung Quan, Hoang Dung, Vinh Khuat, Chillies, Microwave, Mademoiselle, Thinh Suy, Vu Thanh Van, Bui Truong Linh, Kay C, Gigi Huong Giang and the band Mau Nuoc.

HAY FEST will be held for the first time in 2022 with a "huge" lineup of 4 legendary world boy bands: The Moffatts, 911, A1, Blue, and more than 20 Vietnamese artists and music groups that are very popular with young people.

This is also the first music festival to use the glamping model - a camping resort with full facilities and high-class but still focusing on outdoor activities. During the 10 hours of the music festival, 10,000 spectators bathed in the rain, sang, danced, and sang along with the artists on stage.
