Nearly 10 billion VND to support Da Nang to overcome consequences of floods

DNO - On the morning of November 3, representatives of the Da Nang Association in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam National Shipping Lines, Da Nang Port and Vietnam National Energy and Industry Group presented 9.7 billion VND in support to the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City to help people overcome the consequences of floods.

Of which, the Da Nang Association in Ho Chi Minh City donated 1 billion VND to support households repairing their houses after the flood and donated 100 tons of goods (worth 1.7 billion VND); Vietnam National Shipping Lines donated 1 billion VND; Da Nang Port donated 1 billion VND and Vietnam National Energy Industry Group donated 5 billion VND.

Representatives of leaders of units, corporations and companies sent their condolences to the government and people of Da Nang city affected by the floods and rains, and hoped that this support would contribute a small part to join hands with the city government in quickly overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and soon stabilizing people's lives.

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Le Tri Thanh sent his deep thanks to the association of fellow countrymen and organizations and businesses for their contributions and timely, practical support to share with the people of Da Nang city.

“The timely support and companionship of units and kind-hearted people across the country for the city in recent times is very profound, meaningful and a great source of encouragement to help Da Nang quickly overcome the consequences of floods and soon stabilize production and people's lives.

We are committed to delivering this support to the people as quickly, promptly and effectively as possible,” Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, Le Tri Thanh, emphasized.
