Meeting with retired and retired military officers in the province

Provincial Party Secretary Ha Thi Nga and provincial leaders attended the meeting.

Attending the meeting were comrades: Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Tuyen Quang province, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee; Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Military Command, Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, retired and retired military officers in the area.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the 80-year tradition of building, fighting and growing of the Vietnam People's Army and the history of building, fighting and growing of the armed forces of Tuyen Quang province.

Provincial leaders presented flowers to congratulate the Provincial Military Command.

During the August Revolution and the resistance war against the French colonialists, Tuyen Quang had the great honor of being a resistance base, witnessing important historical events of the country such as: the National Conference to establish the Provisional Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the place where the Second National Party Congress was held, the starting point of the Liberation Army during the historic days of the August Revolution and also one of the centers of command of the Party and Government's resistance war against the French to complete victory. With its position as the Resistance Capital, a base area, Tuyen Quang made important contributions to the revolutionary cause of our Party and people.

Entering the period of carrying out the two strategic tasks of building and defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam together with the whole country, Tuyen Quang armed forces always uphold the revolutionary spirit, overcome all difficulties and challenges, closely coordinate with related forces to defeat all plots and sabotage activities of hostile and reactionary forces. At the same time, actively participate in implementing economic, cultural and social development tasks, contributing to protecting, building and developing the province. This is also the core force, together with the Public Security force, taking the lead in helping people prevent and fight epidemics; overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, most recently preventing, fighting and helping people overcome the consequences of storm No. 3. Thereby spreading and beautifying the beautiful image of Uncle Ho's soldiers; being a solid spiritual support for the Party Committee, government and people.

Provincial Party Secretary Ha Thi Nga inquired about the health of retired and retired military officers in the province.

Tuyen Quang was honored to be awarded and posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the Party and State to 13 collectives and 4 individuals; 196 heroic Vietnamese mothers; 23,349 medals, 16,023 medals of various types and thousands of certificates of merit; 4,309 martyrs, 2,965 wounded soldiers who fought bravely, sacrificed themselves or part of their flesh and blood for the cause of national liberation and many other noble awards.

The glorious feats and outstanding achievements of the provincial armed forces in the cause of national liberation, construction and protection of the Fatherland have written heroic pages of history, contributing to embellishing the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Army, the revolutionary tradition of Tuyen Quang homeland and worthy of the tradition of "Loyalty, Solidarity, Bravery, Victory". In that common achievement, there is the great dedication of generations of military officers through the periods.

Comrade Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Tuyen Quang province, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee spoke at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ha Thi Nga acknowledged, highly appreciated and commended the achievements, great contributions and noble sacrifices of cadres and soldiers in general, cadres and soldiers of the provincial armed forces in particular in the resistance wars, construction and protection of the Fatherland and in the cause of innovation and development of Tuyen Quang province.

He also gave an overview of the province's socio-economic development situation and achievements, and the results of the province's armed forces' performance in recent times.

The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that retired military officers, those who have been trained, experienced many challenges, and matured in the military, will continue to promote their spirit of dedication, work experience, political qualities, qualifications, intelligence, and enthusiasm to actively participate in the development of the province; continue to contribute more to building and consolidating national defense and security, resolutely fight against plots and sabotage acts of hostile forces and the enemy's wrong and reactionary views; actively participate in implementing socio-economic development programs, ensuring national defense and security, building the Party and the political system of the province.
