According to experts, the rapid development of the electronics industry not only helps Vietnam participate more deeply in the regional production network but also promotes the formation of a supporting industrial ecosystem, creating high-quality jobs and making a significant contribution to exports. In the past decade, Vietnam's exports of electronics, computers, and components have more than tripled, reaching US$68 billion in 2024 and US$77.5 billion in the first nine months of 2025 alone.

With the growing demand for smart manufacturing, the application of high technology in inspection, measurement, automation, and precision components is becoming an inevitable trend. The International Electronic Components and Smart Manufacturing Exhibition – GEIMS Vietnam 2025, taking place from November 20th to 22nd at the ICE Hanoi International Exhibition Center, will bring together over 200 Asian businesses to showcase new technologies, automation solutions, and future trends in smart factory development.
With the participation of many large domestic and international enterprises such as Panasonic, Daitron, Samsung, VNPT , Xingte, Leder, Yiktong…, the event will showcase advanced products and solutions, from SMT equipment, testing and measurement equipment, electronic circuit boards, relays, switches, Wi-Fi modules to semiconductor components and automation technology, contributing to building a comprehensive technology ecosystem for the Asian electronics industry.
Notably, the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) equipment area will attract the attention of businesses and investors by showcasing assembly lines, high-speed component mounting systems, and intelligent testing solutions serving domestic electronics manufacturing. Major brands such as Panasonic, Daitron, Samsung, VNPT, Xingte, Leder, Yiktong… will introduce their latest products and technologies, contributing to building a comprehensive electronics industry ecosystem in Vietnam.
Along with the exhibition area, a series of specialized seminars jointly organized by the Vietnam Electronic Industries Association (VEIA) and the Center for Science , Technology and Innovation Development (ISC) will focus on discussing the development strategy of the electronics - semiconductor industry, supporting industries, as well as digital transformation in production. This is considered a forum connecting management agencies, experts and businesses to jointly shape the direction for the high-tech industry.
In addition, the Business Matching program is one of the highlights of the exhibition. Direct meetings between buyers and suppliers will be arranged in advance, with translation support, helping businesses shorten negotiation time and optimize cooperation opportunities.
In addition, many Vietnamese businesses such as NP Vina, Britestone Vina, SMT Minh Ha, Pyramid, Vinh Chau Renewable Energy, CadPro, HTI Group… have confirmed their participation, demonstrating a high level of interest in trade and the need to expand the market for components, ICs, IoT microcontrollers, and factory automation.
According to the organizers, GEIMS Vietnam 2025 is not only a place to introduce technology but also a platform to connect businesses in the Asian electronics supply chain, helping Vietnamese businesses access smart manufacturing trends, improve competitiveness and participate more deeply in the global value network.
