Rice prices in the Mekong Delta on October 31 recorded a stable trend. Fresh rice in the fields did not fluctuate, while prices of some raw rice varieties for export decreased slightly. Trading activities in the market generally slowed down due to the lack of abundant end-of-season supply.
Domestic rice market
According to an update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the low supply of rice at the end of the season and the reduced quality have weakened transactions. Traders in many localities such as An Giang, Can Tho, and Dong Thap are buying sparingly.
Fresh rice price at field is stable
Prices of popular fresh rice varieties in the Mekong Delta remain stable compared to yesterday. Supply is limited as it is the end of the harvest season.

According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the export price of Vietnamese rice on the world market remains stable. Specifically:
- 5% broken fragrant rice: 415 - 430 USD/ton.
- 100% broken rice: 314 - 317 USD/ton.
- Jasmine rice: 478 - 482 USD/ton.
In general, the domestic and export rice markets maintained a stable trend, with slow transactions due to reduced end-of-season supply, while purchasing demand from businesses and traders was moderate.
