On the morning of December 13th, the SJC gold bar price was listed by SJC Company at 83.9 million VND/ounce for buying and 86.4 million VND/ounce for selling, a decrease of 900,000 VND per ounce compared to yesterday morning. This is also the gold bar trading price at PNJ and DOJI companies.
Meanwhile,ACB Bank bought SJC gold bars at a higher price, around 84.7 million VND/ounce, and sold them at 86.4 million VND/ounce. Eximbank bought at 84.4 million VND/ounce and sold at 86.4 million VND/ounce.
Not only gold bars, but the prices of gold rings and other gold jewelry also fell sharply, with SJC Company buying at 83.8 million VND/ounce and selling at 85.2 million VND/ounce, a decrease of 700,000 VND per ounce compared to yesterday.
Gold prices are fluctuating very strongly today.
PNJ and DOJI companies are also selling 99.99% pure gold rings at around 85.1 million VND/ounce, with buying prices around 84 million VND/ounce. Mi Hong company lowered the price of 99.99% pure gold rings to 85 million VND/ounce.
Domestic gold prices have been fluctuating sharply in recent days, increasing or decreasing by millions of dong per ounce each day.
The price of SJC gold bars and gold rings has fallen sharply due to the impact of the plummeting global prices. On the international market, the price of gold has fallen far below the $2,700/ounce mark.
At 9:15 AM Vietnam time, the price of gold today was $2,688 per ounce, a decrease of nearly $20 per ounce.
During the session, the precious metal briefly dropped sharply to near the $2,670/ounce mark amid positive US economic news and profit-taking pressure from investors after having risen by about $100/ounce in recent days.
Currently, the world gold price, converted according to the listed exchange rate, is approximately 82.6 million VND per tael.
