SJC gold bar price falls below 87 million VND/tael

(NLDO) – Each tael of SJC gold bar this morning lost nearly a million VND/tael, falling far from the 87 million VND/tael mark.

On the morning of December 13, the price of SJC gold bars was listed by SJC Company at 83.9 million VND/tael for buying and 86.4 million VND/tael for selling, down 900,000 VND/tael compared to yesterday morning. This is also the price of gold bars traded at PNJ and DOJI Companies.

Meanwhile,ACB Bank bought SJC gold bars at a higher price, around 84.7 million VND/tael, and sold at 86.4 million VND/tael. Eximbank bought at 84.4 million VND/tael and sold at 86.4 million VND/tael.

Not only gold bars, the price of gold rings and jewelry of all kinds also decreased sharply when SJC Company bought at 83.8 million VND/tael, sold at 85.2 million VND/tael, down 700,000 VND per tael compared to yesterday.

Gold prices fluctuate very strongly today

PNJ and DOJI also sold 99.99 plain gold rings at around VND85.1 million/tael, and bought at around VND84 million/tael. Mi Hong Company lowered the price of 99.99 gold rings to VND85 million/tael.

Domestic gold prices have fluctuated strongly in recent days, increasing and decreasing by millions of VND/tael every day.

The price of SJC gold bars and gold rings has dropped sharply due to the impact of the world price decline. In the international market, the gold price has far surpassed the 2,700 USD/ounce range.

At 9:15 am Vietnam time, today's gold price was at 2,688 USD/ounce, down about 20 USD/ounce.

During the session, there was a time when the precious metal fell sharply to near the 2,670 USD/ounce mark due to positive information about the US economy, and profit-taking pressure from investors after increasing by about 100 USD/ounce in recent days.

Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 82.6 million VND/tael.
